PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector with which projectable videos of the highest image quality can be projected on a screen set in a wide projecting range in which videos can be projected. SOLUTION: In the position where a main body section 50 is rotated around a fixed leg 3 by the rotating leg 4b of a foot section 4, the projecting section 1 of the projector 100 projects videos along the direction of inclination according to the length of the projection of the support post 4a of the foot section 4 from the main body section 50. The projector 100 images a range including projection videos by a CCD2, and adjusts the set direction of the projector 100 by the foot section 4 so that the screen observed from the imaging view point of the CCD 2 may become close to a rectangular shape.
