PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens drive device in which a long moving distance of a lens is ensured by a simple configuration while miniaturization is achieved. SOLUTION: The lens drive device 1 includes: a yoke 3; a magnet 5 disposed on the yoke 3; a lens holder 7(9) to which a coil 11(13) is fixed; and an electrode 15(17) that supplies power to the coil 11(13). The lens drive device moves the lens holder 7(9) in the direction of the optical axis of the lens 31(43) by magnetic force generated by supplying power to the coil 11(13) from the electrode 15(17). The yoke 3, magnet 5, and the electrode 15(17) extend long along the direction of the optical axis. A coil terminal 39 fixed to the lens holder 7(9) moves along the optical axis together with the lens holder 7(9) while coming into contact with the electrode 15(17). COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
