PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographic studio apparatus capable of varying background colors during photography. SOLUTION: A plurality of red LEDs 112, green LEDs 115 and blue LEDs 118 as color effect light sources are arranged on the right and left sides of fluorescent lamps 43a to 43f respectively so that they can be nearly uniformly distributed in a surface direction. Upon using the color effect light source, the color scheme of the color effect light source is set, and the LED corresponding to the set color is driven, then, light is emitted from the color effect light source. For example, when 'red' is set as the background color, only the red LED 112 is lighted, and the green LED 115 and the blue LED 118 are not lighted.
