PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilation fan capable of collecting dust by swirling the sucked air. SOLUTION: This ventilation fan comprises a main body 1, the main body 1 is provided with a fan 3 driven by a motor 2, a suction opening 4 for the air sucked by the fan 3, a discharge opening 5 for discharging the air sucked from the suction opening 4 by the fan 3, a chamber 6 mounted between the suction opening 4 and the fan 3, and a partitioning plate 7, the partitioning plate 7 partitions the fan 3 and the chamber 6, and is provided with a fan suction opening 8 of the fan 3, the fan suction opening 8 comprises a cylindrical duct 9 for communicating the fan 3 with the chamber 6, the cylindrical duct 9 is provided with a cylindrical duct suction opening 10 as a suction opening of the cylindrical duct 9, and the sucked air sucked from the suction opening 4 to the cylindrical duct suction opening 10 is swirled to collect dust in the sucked air.
