PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sand bag holder which enables a sand bag to be stably held while holding a cylindrical shape when feeding earth, sand or the like into the sand bag, is easily handled upon transportation/storage since it is not bulky, and is suitably used for a large sand bag. SOLUTION: The sand bag holder made by forming a plate material into a bent plate comprises; a plurality of trunk plates 2, 3, 4, being split pieces of a cylinder prepared by splitting the cylinder in a vertical direction; a connecting device 5 detachably connecting side end parts of the trunk plates to each other to form a cylindrical body 7 having a cross-sectional C shape with a slit-like opening part 6 formed in a position to extend in a vertical direction; a truss hoop 9 having a C shape in plan view with a discontinued part 8 at the same position as that of the opening part 6 and being attached to each of an upper end part and a lower end part of the cross-sectional C-shaped cylindrical body 7; and an opening-preventive device 11 detachably connecting the discontinued part 8 of the truss hoop 9.
