PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the motion performance of the tire by setting a rubber gauge within a predetermined area (so called shoulder area) from the ground contact end of a tread section asymmetrically in the right and left in a pneumatic tire having a plurality of tire air chambers. SOLUTION: Since one side rubber gauge TGI is set larger than the other rubber gauge TGO for the rubber gauge of the tread section 16 in a shoulder area 36, the distribution of the ground contact pressure of the shoulder area 36 becomes asymmetric, and the lateral force F from the rubber gauge TGO side toward the rubber gauge TGI is generated in the straight running. The lateral force F is generated from the outside of the tire mounted to the vehicle toward the inside and the operation stability becomes very excellent by making the rubber gauge TGI side be the inside of the tire mounted to the vehicle, and making the rubber gauge TGO side be the outside of the tire mounted to the vehicle.
