PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand-held electric tool recognizing a display part independently of working posture, while visual recognition depends on working posture in a conventional one, with regard to a portable electric tool provided with a display part for informing conclusion of the fastening work. SOLUTION: This electric tool is provided with: a driving part structured of a motor; a rotating part to be rotated by the motor to fasten a bolt or the like; a detecting part for detecting torque of the rotating part; a control part for stopping the motor when the torque reaches the set torque; and a display part for informing a user that fastening by the set torque is concluded. A user can visually recognize completion of fastening independently of posture of the user by lighting the display part with a plane or a belt-like lamp. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
