PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a progressive die apparatus of a press, which has a scrap dividing mechanism having a scrap-rise preventive function. SOLUTION: The progressive die apparatus 10 of the press punches products at a required interval by means of a punch-die set 13 in a metallic die set while carrying a hoop stock 20. A scrap dividing die-punch set 14 is provided on the downstream side than the punch-die set 13 in the metallic die set in the direction of carrying the hoop stock in order to separate a connected region between openings on the scrap of the hoop stock remained after punching the products at the required interval. In addition, a scrap cut die-punch set 15 is provided on the downstream side than the scrap dividing die-punch 14 in the direction of carrying the hoop stock in order to separate a connected region between the openings on the scrap of the hoop stock and the end edge portions of the hoop stock. In this progressive die apparatus of the press, a part of the punching shape of the scrap dividing die-punch set 14 has a shape of a dovetail groove. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
