The present invention relates to a system for searching for or registering RFID, which includes an object directory server, an object traceability server, an object information server, a middleware system, an application system, a reader and an RFID tag, so as to detect the location of servers that store information corresponding to an RFID code, acquire data related to the object, and register data related to the RFID tag in an object information server and in an object traceability server, and to a control method thereof. The present invention is advantageous in that it provides information related to RFID tags to a plurality of organizations, thus providing information service to the networks of the organizations, improving the universality of an RFID network system, easily searching for information utilized in various fields, and searching for or registering object information related to RFID codes in real time.
