A system and a method for providing customized information by using an RFID tag and a mobile device are provided to enable a location based tag recognizer to transmit an intrinsic code value and location information of the RFID tag to an information providing server and enable the information providing server to confirm an access address and a selected service of the mobile device from a database by using the intrinsic value of the RFID tag and generate service information before transmitting the generated service information to the access address of the mobile device, thereby removing additional costs imposed on a user and enabling a service provider to make profits through information fee and advertisement. A system for providing customized information by using an RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) tag and a mobile device comprises the followings: a tag-embedded mobile device(20) which includes the RFID tag(21) and a mobile function unit(22) capable of transceiving mobile messages and data; a location based tag recognizer(10) including a repeater(13) which collects, filters, stores and transmits information about an antenna(12), a reader(11), a cable/wireless data transceiver(14) and the RFID tag and has location information; and an information providing server(30) which is connected to a PLMN(Public Land Mobile Network) and a WAN(Wide Area Network), collects information about the RFID tag from the location based tag recognizer(10), has a database and provides service information to the mobile device.
