A method for inputting and interpreting secret information is provided to safely generate a one-time virtual password even if the third person steals a look of numbers inputted from a user. If a user inputs an ID, an SPU(Secret Processing Unit) is ready to read a raw password and a security card value of the inputted ID from a memory. A display unit displays 10 randomly modified values. The SPU receives a virtual password through an input unit. It is checked whether the inputted virtual password is matched with the virtual password operated from the raw password and the security card value. The virtual password is formed by adding the value sequentially matching a user-defined start point of the security card to a matching value of the display unit and the matching value is corresponding to the raw password.
