<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a control operation for transfer bias satisfactorily in a state more adapted to use environment. <P>SOLUTION: The transfer control apparatus selects each one of respective arithmetic expressions set for every region of respective use environment sectioned by a threshold value voltage Vw preset corresponding to the use environment, and obtains representative values Vspa1, Vspa2 and Vspa0 of the sampling voltage Vsp of a contact transfer body. The transfer bias adapted to the current use environment is output from a transfer bias applying means on the basis of the obtained representative values Vspa1, Vspa2 and Vspa0 to obtain the representative values Vspa1, Vspa2 and Vspa0 of the sampling voltage Vsp in the state more adapted to the use environment, thereby performing the satisfactory transfer operation in both of a high temperature/high humidity condition or a low temperature/low humidity condition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
