<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter structure capable of easily securing display quality of transmissive and reflective display and a balance therebetween by making a color element of the transmissive display and a color display of the reflective display differ from each other and to provide an electro-optical device having the same. <P>SOLUTION: In the electro-optical device including three kinds of sub-pixels Dxr, Dxg and Dxb each of which has a light transmitting region At and a light reflecting region Ar and wherein colored layers 122at and 122ar each having one color of three colors are respectively disposed in the light transmitting region and the light reflecting region and at least one kind of sub pixel Dxc having the light transmitting region in which a colored layer having at least one color other than the three colors is disposed, a plurality of sub pixels are disposed in a prescribed pattern using the three kinds of sub pixels and at least the one kind of sub pixel as a display unit pixel Px and at least the one kind of sub pixel Dxc has the light reflecting region Ar in which no colored layer is disposed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
