<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for correcting black matrix in color filter with which the corrected part of defect in a black matrix in a color filter exhibits light shielding properties enough for black matrix and the corrected part causes no defective display. <P>SOLUTION: The defect part produced in the black matrix 5 in the color filter 1 is irradiated with a laser beam, the black matrix 5 including the defect part is eliminated and, thereby, a void part 7 is formed. Subsequently, two colors of blue and red correction inks 12, 14 are applied to the void part 7 and, thereby, the black matrix 5 in the color filter 1 is corrected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
