<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a malfunction of a clutch at the time of free rotation of an outer ring in an electromagnetic type wet multidisk clutch. <P>SOLUTION: An electromagnetic clutch part 10A which takes an electromagnet 13 as a driving source and forces an armature 11 into attraction onto a rotor 12 mounted on the outer ring 3 by energization with respect to the electromagnet 13 and axial force load part 10B for applying the axial force to the wet multidisk clutch 7 by relatively rotating the armature 11 with respect to a pressure plate 21 prevented from rotating by an inner ring 5 and axially moving a pressure plunger 21 by a ball cam 22 when the armature 11 of the electromagnetic clutch part 10A is fastened to the outer ring 3, are provided to one side in an axial direction of the wet multidisk clutch 7. The armature 11 is supported by the inner ring 5 so as to be freely rotatable and movable in an axial direction. The application of dragging torque to the armature 11 is prevented by the viscous resistance of oil sealed at the time of free rotation of the outer ring 3.
