PRINTING METHOD AND PRINTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing method and a printing device capable of preventing the leakage of confidential information caused by printed matters, without a user having to wait in front of the printing device for a long time till the completion of printing against his will.

SOLUTION: An MFP receives printing data for confidential printing (S201), and decides whether the output destination of the confidential printing data thus received is an output bin with a key which can open/close the printing data to output the data in a form of being printed on a paper, or a digital output bin which can retain the printing data and take out the retained printing data for printing based on user authentication (S202).
