PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting equipment with proper design, superior in detection performance or in adjustment work. SOLUTION: An equipment body 1 is provided with a lamp 4 substantially at the center; a sensor 2 on an end composed of a brightness sensor detecting the brightness at a specified spot and a human detection sensor; and a control unit controlling the lamp by detection signal from the human detection sensor, and also controlling so that the brightness in the specified spot becomes the target value by the signal from the brightness sensor. A cover 9 covers the lamp 4 and the sensor 2. A shielding member 8 is provided between the sensor 2 and the lamp 4.
