PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of cross contamination to the utmost even when cell is scattered or floated in association with scattering or aerosolization of a specimen and a culture solution. SOLUTION: The culturing apparatus 1 is equipped with a plurality of culture vessels 2 for storing adhesive cells, a plurality of culturing chambers 3 for storing the plurality of culture vessels 2 so as to enable to take each in and out, an opening and closing door 4 for each opening and closing entrances of the plurality of culture vessels 3 and hermetically sealing the interior of the culturing chambers 3 when each entrance is kept in close state, a treating chamber 5 for applying prescribed treatment to the adhesive cells, a conveying means 6 for taking the culture vessels 3 in and out, storage chambers 10 for each storing exchangeable chip 9 and at least either one storage storage container of a storage container 7 for storing a culture solution and a storage container 8 for storing a reagent required for culturing the adhesive cells, and sealing members 11 for each opening and closing the entrances of the storage chambers 10 and hermetically sealing the interiors of the storage chambers 10, and a plurality of storage chambers 10 and a plurality of hermetically sealing members 11 are provided according to numbers of culturing chambers 3.
