PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescence element which has a high light emission efficiency and a high luminance and can keep light emission at a low driving voltage and has little thermal deterioration. SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescence element has at least one layer of organic layer between an anode 2 and a cathode 8. At least one layer of the organic layers contains 5,10-dihydrophenazine compound wherein at least one ethenyl group with at least one substituted aryl group is substituted to the N-th order.
