PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a switch device in which switching accuracy of On/Off states of a magnetic sensor is improved. SOLUTION: In the switch device 10, the direction of contact and separation movement of a pair of permanent magnets 42, 44 against a magnetic sensing element 20 is changed in the direction inclined to the movement direction (arrow head A direction and arrow B direction) of an ejector 234. Thereby, since the movement amount of the pair of permanent magnets 42, 44 becomes longer than the movement amount of the ejector 234, the amount of change in magnetic flux density of the magnetic force line crossing the magnetic sensing element 20 can be made larger than the case when the permanent magnets are moved simply in the movement direction of the ejector 234, and on the top of that, the magnetic flux density can be changed steeply and sharply.
