PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an information reproducing apparatus and the information reproducing apparatus where aberration such as coma aberration never occurs even when parallelism of the recording surface of a recording medium and a carriage supporting member is not secured due to variance of processes, a tolerance of component material, etc. in a manufacturing stage of the information reproducing apparatus and even when there is distortion etc. which makes it difficult to secure the parallelism inside of a carriage. SOLUTION: While the recording medium 60 is mounted to the information reproducing apparatus, a relative positional relation between the recording medium 60 and an optical unit 21 is adjusted from a side opposite to the mounting side of the recording medium 60, and the optical unit 21 is fitted to the information reproducing apparatus.
