PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device capable of suppressing vibrations of a drive chassis. SOLUTION: Shafts 3A and 3B are projectingly provided on both side faces 2a and 2b in the vicinity of one end 2c of a drive chassis 2, and reception parts 4 for receiving respective shafts 3A and 3B from the side of the other end 2d and projecting piece parts 5 projecting toward faces 4a of the reception parts 4 are formed on the main chassis 1 in order to support respective shafts 3A and 3B. The reception parts 4 have the faces 4a brought into contact with peripheral surfaces on the side of the other end 2d of respective shafts 3A and 3B, faces 4b and 4c brought into contact with peripheral surfaces rectangular to the side of the other end 2d of respective shafts 3A and 3B, and faces 4d brought into contact with end faces of respective shafts 3A and 3B. Each projecting piece part 5 is elastically deformed in directions opposite to side faces 2a and 2b and is restored from elastic deformation after reception of respective shafts 3A and 3B into the reception parts 4 and then has a front end face 5a brought into contact with peripheral surfaces on the side of one end 2a of respective shafts 3A and 3B. One projecting piece part 5 has a projection 5c formed, which is brought into contact with the end face of one shaft 3A while receiving an elastic restoring force. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
