PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezo-injector drive mechanism for accurately transmitting instruction information having a value of 3 or greater if depending on communication. SOLUTION: In the elongation control of a piezoelectric element PE, the electric energy of the piezoelectric element PE is operated via a drive circuit 62 by a control circuit 90. Instruction signals (a charge finishing timing signal and an on-operation finishing timing signal) carried with instruction information about the operation mode of a charging switch 70 of the drive circuit 62 are generated by an ECU 60 and output to the control circuit 90.
