摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine assembling method for giving less distortion to a cylinder part when assembled. SOLUTION: In the method of assembling an engine consisting of a bore part 10, a crankcase part 13a and a crank cap 17, a bolt seat portion 10a is provided at the edge of the bore part 10 on the side of contacting the crankcase part 13a and a first female screw portion 10b and a second female screw portion 10c are provided on the bolt seat portion 10a. A crank cap bolt 18b is fastened to the first female screw portion 10b, and the crank cap 17 is thereby assembled with the crankcase part 13a held therein. A cylinder head bolt 18a is fastened to the second female screw portion 10c, and a cylinder head 16 is thereby assembled thereon. The crank cap bolt 18b pulls the bolt seat portion 10a from one side and the cylinder head bolt 18a pulls the bolt seat portion 10a from the other side, thus suppressing the amount of displacement to be given to the bolt seat portion 10a.
