PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retardant resin composition excellent in flame retardancy, mechanical properties, and low-temperature resistance and to provide a nonhalogen insulated wire using the same as its covering material and a wire harness containing the nonhalogen insulated wire. SOLUTION: The composition essentially consists of (A) 100 pts.wt. propylene resin, (B) 1 to 40 pts.wt. ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer having a number-average molecular weight in the range of 2,000 to 4,000, and (C) 30 to 200 pts.wt. metal hydrate. The nonhalogen insulated wire uses the composition as its covering material. This wire is used in the wire bundle of a wire harness. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
