摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic brake system using linear valves capable of enhancing its practical applicability. SOLUTION: The brake system using linear valves to a pressure boosting valve 70 and a decompression valve 72 for increasing or decreasing the liquid pressure in each wheel cylinder is formed able to execute at least one of the sensing process for the self-excited vibration of the linear valve and the eliminating process for the self-excited vibration. Sensing the self-excited vibration is conducted using a method of frequency analysis on the basis of the periodic variation of the liquid pressure in the wheel cylinder. The eliminating process is conducted so that a shutoff valve 92 is installed between a reserver 26 and the decompression valve 72, and by operating the shutoff valve, inside the boosting valve and the decompression valve is put under a pressurized condition so as to nullify bubbles in the valves. The sensing process and the eliminating process may be executed during a vehicle being stopped, but even during running, these processes can be executed by installing a shutoff valve 90 between each wheel cylinder 24 and decompression valve and putting the shutoff valves in operation.
