PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin part welding method capable of enhancing a product yield by perfectly eliminating the adhesion of the molten bonding parts of a resin part to a hot plate and capable of well joining both bonding parts mutually to sharply enhance product quality, and to provide a resin part welding apparatus. SOLUTION: The resin part welding method includes an arranging process for arranging the bonding part of the first resin part 10 held to a first fixture 3 and the bonding part of the second resin part 20 held to a second fixture 4 in an opposed and spaced-apart state, a hot plate advancing process for inserting the hot plate 5 in the space between the mutual bonding parts 10a and 20a of both resin parts 10 and 20 to arrange the same between them, a hot plate retracting process for retracting the hot plate 5 from the space between the mutual bonding parts 10a and 20a of both resin parts 10 and 20 and a contact bonding process for moving both fixtures 3 and 4 so as to allow them to approach each other to mutually bond and join both bonding parts 10a and 20a under pressure.
