PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water purification filter of a water tank using a channel, which is arranged on the gravel bottom of a water tank and with which water is uniformly absorbed from the whole upper area of the filter connected to a purifier and used, water is purified by filtration effect by gravel and organic matter decomposition effect of aerobic bacteria propagated in gravel, suspended matters such as fish droppings, etc., on the gravel are sent to the purifier so as not to be stored in the filter and a clean state is maintained in the water tank. SOLUTION: Holes 3 are opened along a channel through the lid 7 of a box 6 made in an assembled form of a curved line so as to make a water flow in the whole filter, a pipe 4 to be connected to the purifier is attached to one side of the channel and a pipe 5 to suck suspended matters in the water tank is attached to the other side to produce the filter, the filter is put in the water tank when used, a strainer 8 is attached to the pipe 5 to suck suspended matters, the water suction pipe 9 of the purifier is connected to the connection pipe 4 by a linkage pipe 11, gravel is laid in the water tank until the filter is buried so as to make the strainer 8 of the filter appear.
