A load detecting system capable of detecting load and vibration applied to a support by load sensors disposed on a support supporting a human body or an animal body, especially a load detecting system having a strong noise resistance and being capable of detecting fine vibration applied to a support. The load detecting system comprises a plurality of load sensors (1) dispersedly arranged in the detection-subjected area of a support (7), a selecting means (6) for selecting part of load sensors (1) from them, and a detecting means (5) capable of detecting load and vibration applied to the support (7) based on outputs from selected load sensors (1). The selecting means (6) selects load sensors based on an output S from each load sensor, or an output S from each load sensor and a position at which each load sensor is arranged.
