<p>A door fitting has a metal plate (1) secured to the inside of a door and fitted with lock (6) and door handle mounting (2) as well as a plastic window (4) with a key symbol. If the door is opened with the key left in the lock an acoustic warning is activated for about 10 seconds to remind the user to remove the key before shutting the door, e.g. when leaving the premises. The warning system is fitted with sensors and has a self contained battery supply.</p> |
