A COG(Chip On Glass) type of LCD is provided to prevent the positional error of conductive balls of an anisotropic conductive film while a driver IC is attached onto pads, thereby improving the adhesive force between the driver IC and the pads, by using a polygon groove formed in an upper surface of each pad. Gate and data pads(117a,117b) are arranged on a substrate(111). A polygon groove is formed in an upper surface of each of the gate and data pads. An anisotropic conductive film(121) is positioned at a region covering the gate and data pads, wherein the anisotropic conductive film includes a plurality of conductive balls(113). A driver IC(115) has pads(119) electrically contacted with the gate and data pads through the conductive balls of the anisotropic conductive film. |
