A tape carrier package and an LCD using the same are provided to effectively radiate the heat generated from a drive IC, thereby securing the driving stability of the driver IC and preventing the deformation of the tape carrier package, by using a heat radiating body. A tape carrier package comprises a base film(106), a drive IC(108) formed on a first surface of the base film, and a heat radiating body(120) formed on a second surface of the base film. The first surface of the base film is opposite to the second surface of the base film. The heat radiating body is a pyrolytic graphite sheet. The pyrolytic graphite sheet has a thickness of about 0.15 millimeters. |
