<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the performance of a hinge for an automatic document feeder, and to improve the maintenability. <P>SOLUTION: By changing a cam system incorporated in the hinge from a fixing system to a rotating/moving system, the position of the cam is varied in accordance with the opening/closing of the automatic document feeder, besides, a damper, a torque limiter and a spring affecting the change are provided, then, they can widely work in terms of an opening/closing angle, and also, the maintenance is facilitated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
