PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and easy-to-assemble/disassemble rotary electric machine for a heat pipe cooled-type vehicle. SOLUTION: A heat pipe 14 is press-fitted in a heat pipe containing groove 121 recessed in the rear end wall of a rear frame 12, and the heat pipe 14 is extended from the rear-end wall of a rear frame 12 to an outlet 9 for discharging cooling air. Furthermore, the negative side heat dissipation fin 51 of a rectifier 5 is applied in tight contact with a part of the heat pipe 14, which is applied tightly to the rear-end wall of the rear frame 12.
