PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new telephone call originating method completely different from a conventional method. SOLUTION: In this telephone call originating method using a mobile telephone set 10 and a private telephone exchange 30, which are connected to each other through a public wireless network 100, the input of a telephone number of a communicating party's telephone set 80 is accepted at the mobile telephone set 10, the mobile telephone set 10 originates a telephone call to a connection apparatus 50 through the public wireless network 100 to connect to the private telephone exchange 30, the private telephone exchange 30 is notified of the telephone number of the communicating party's telephone set 80, the telephone number is used to originate a telephone call from the private telephone exchange 30 to the communicating party's telephone set 80, and the private telephone exchange 30 connects communication between the mobile telephone set 10 and the communicating party's telephone set 80.
