PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal amplifier the adjustment of which can simply and accurately be carried out in response to an installed state. SOLUTION: The signal amplifier 1 for amplifying a signal includes: an input ATT4, a GC 6, a TILT 9 and an output ATT 12 for amplifying or adjusting the signal; and an adjustment control section 20 that discriminates an input level to the signal amplifier 1 on the basis of the signal amplified or adjusted by the input ATT4, the GC 6, the TILT 9 and the output ATT 12, determines an adjustment value for adjusting the input ATT4, the GC 6, the TILT 9 and the output ATT 12 on the basis of the discriminated input level, and outputs an adjustment signal in response to the adjustment value to the input ATT4, the GC 6, the TILT 9 and the output ATT 12.
