PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the convenience of a data operation and to ensure security. SOLUTION: An MFP (multi function peripheral) is provided with an HDD having a user box for each user, an access control part for controlling access to the user box, a user authenticating part for authenticating a user and a job history data generating part for storing job history data of an executed job in the HDD. The access control part includes a first permitting means (yes of S03) for permitting an authenticated user to access a user box of the user, a second permitting means (writing in S04) for permitting the the authenticated user to execute processing that stores data in a user box of a user different from the user, and a third permitting means (yes of S05) for permitting the authenticated user to execute processing to data of the user box of the user different from the user on the basis of the job history data stored in the HDD.
