PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an arithmetic amount when classifying and presenting results of image search. SOLUTION: A character string inputted from a client-side device is acquired, and the inputted character string is taken as a key to retrieve a character index DB, and the character string is taken as a key to retrieve an image index DB in the case that the character string exists in the character index DB, and images including the character string are acquired and are classified into categories, and the image index DB is retrieved on the basis of information of classified images, and the classified images are divided into groups using image feature quantities preserved in the image index DB, and the images divided into groups are outputted to the client-side device per group.
