PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a fixture for measuring the size of an are section formed in a small member to be measured with simple and low-priced structure. SOLUTION: An inner ring 10 of a ball bearing of a member to be measured is mounted on a width-direction instrumentation fixture 200 by inserting an inserting section 206 into an inner hole 18 thereof. At that time, an end surface 12 of the inner ring 10 is plane-contacted to the upper surface 204 of a base 202 and the inner surface 16 of the inner hole 18 is contacted to the sidewall 222 of the inserting section 206. The inserting section 206 has a reference plane 218 at a focal plane. An object region to be observed including the reference plane 218 and the end surface 12 of the inner ring 10, and the are section 20 between the reference plane 218 and the end surface 12 of the inner ring 10 is observed via an observation hole 210 and also, the size of the width of the are section 20 (the size in a radial direction) is measured.
