PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new benzopyran-based coloring matter having an excellent copolymerizing properties with vinyl-based monomers such as an alkylacrylate, an alkylmethacrylate, styrene or the like, and having an excellent fluorescence properties. SOLUTION: The reactive benzopyran-based compounds represented by general formula (1), have excellent copolymerizing properties to vinyl-based monomers and excellent fluorescence properties.
