PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small planing boat capable of realizing miniaturization of an exhaust system and enhancement of freedom of arrangement of an engine by devising the constitution of the exhaust system. SOLUTION: The small planing boat is provided with an engine E and the exhaust system 40 for leading an exhaust gas from an engine E to the outside of a hull 1 in the hull 1 comprising a hull 2 and a deck 3 for covering the hull 2 from above. The exhaust system 40 has an upstream chamber 45 and a downstream chamber 46 for circulating the exhaust gas from the engine E; a first exhaust pipe 51 for communicating the upstream chamber 45 with the downstream chamber 46; and a second exhaust pipe 52 extended from the downstream chamber 46 toward the outside of the hull 1. The upstream chamber 45 and the downstream chamber 46 are provided in parallel to each other. The second exhaust pipe 52 is constituted such that it passes through a position adjacent to the engine E more than the first exhaust pipe 51 and is extended from the downstream chamber 46.
