<p>A decorative strip, especially a coving strip, is made of extruded or expanded polystyrene. After fitting the outer surface of the strip is coated with a flexible self setting foam, e.g. PVC, applied by rollers, dispensing jets etc. The foam can have a single or multiple color effect and can contain fire inhibitors. Additional effects are provided with including light refracting particles, e.g. metal sputtered particles, colored glass particles etc.</p> |
