<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bedding pillow capable of performing an optical treatment by irradiating the head and neck part of a user with a light beam during sleep so as to improve the blood flow of a cervical spine part and a neural transmission and to eliminate the fatigue and stiffness of a whole body. <P>SOLUTION: Light emitting diodes 20 are laid at contact parts with the head and neck part of a living body in the bedding pillow. A polarization plate 23 is arranged on a light emission surface so as to irradiate the head and neck part with the coherent light. A living body contact detector is arranged at a place adjacent to the light emitting diodes 20. Only the light emitting diode 20 at the contact part with the living body is turned on.
