PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a back light assembly capable of improving display quality and to provide a liquid crystal display device having this.

SOLUTION: This back light assembly comprises a storage container, a first side mold, a printed circuit board and a lamp. The first side mold is disposed on both sides of the storage container. The printed circuit board is fixed to the first side mold and provided with many conductive clips and power supply wiring for transmission of a lamp drive power supply. The lamp is joined and fixed to the conductive clips and generates light in response to the lamp drive power supply. The power supply wiring comprises first wiring electrically connected with odd-numbered conductive clips among the conductive clips and second wiring electrically connected with even-numbered conductive clip among the conductive clips. Lamp drive power supplies of mutually opposite phase are applied to the first wiring and the second wiring.
