<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authentication system and a terminal device which are suitable for, especially, electronic voting on the Internet with many and unspecified users as the object. <P>SOLUTION: In an authentication system utilizing the terminal device and an IC card 180, the IC card 180 has a storage area 182 for exercised right information showing access object identifiers which have already exercised the right, and the terminal device has a right authentication AP800 which issues an access permission on condition that an identifier corresponding to a specific access object selected by a user is not registered in the IC card as exercised right information, and registers the identifier in the IC card as exercised right information in response to user access to the specific access object. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
