<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector 10 of which dust resistance is enhanced without applying insertion force of an FPC 64. <P>SOLUTION: In the connector 10 provided with a required number of contacts 14, housing 12, and rotating member 18, the contacts 14 are provided with at least a contact part 26, a connecting part 40, a fulcrum part 28, a coupling part 30, and a press reception part 32, and arranged in a nearly lateral H-shape. When a pressing part 54 of the rotating member 18 is rotated between the connection part 40 and the press reception part 32, the contact part 26 has a structure to be connected to an object to be connected. The housing 12 is provided with a ceiling part 50 for covering the contact part 26 of the contacts 14 and with an upper wall part 52 for covering the press reception part 32. The rotating member 18 is provided with an operation part 56, the pressing part 54, the press reception part 32, a locking hole 58, and a cover part 60. After the rotating member 18 has been rotated, spacings between the tip of the upper wall part 52 and the operation part 56 and between the upper wall part 52 and the tip of opposite side of the operation part 56 of the rotating member 18 are made to be narrower within a range that the rotating member 18 is not contacted with the upper wall part 52 of the housing 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
