PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire including cross grooves and having a tread pattern including the cross grooves with a superior noise performance. SOLUTION: This pneumatic tire is provided with cross grooves 12 crossing with a tread part in an X-shape and symmetrically relative to a tire width direction line Lw. When a crossing point of a tire peripheral direction Lc passing through a crossing point A of the cross groove and a tire ground shape line S is denoted as B, a crossing angle of the cross grooves on the side sandwiching the tire width direction line Lw passing through the crossing point A is denoted asθα, and an angle formed by a tire peripheral direction line Lc passing through the crossing point B and a tangent T of the tire ground shape line S of the crossing point B is denoted asθβ, the cross grooves satisfy following conditions. (1) In the case ofθβ<45°,θα<-2.5×θβ+162.5°is satisfied. (2) In the case of 45°≤θβ<60°,θα>-1.2×θβ+179°is satisfied. Also, in the case of 60°≤θβ≤90°,θα>105°is satisfied. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
