PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enlarge a displayable area of a liquid crystal panel 40. SOLUTION: A combination meter 100 is provided with a decorative panel 11; the liquid crystal panel 40 for displaying warning character information on the back surface side of the panel 11 and on the surface side of the panel 11 through a center opening part 11c; and a ring-like cover part 50 arranged inside the opening part 11c and molded in such a ring shape as to be along an opening end part of the panel 11. The liquid crystal panel 40 is provided with both a center displayable area 41 for display through an opening part 50a of the ring-like cover part 50 and a frame-like displayable area 42 formed in such a frame shape as to surround the periphery of the center displayable area 41 on the back surface side of the ring-like cover part 50 for display through the ring-like cover part 50. It is therefore possible to enlarge a displayable area of the liquid crystal panel 40 by providing the frame-like displayable area 42. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
