PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetostrictive torque sensor device capable of shortening the attaching time of insulated tubes and having no dispersion in finish. SOLUTION: In magnetostrictive torque sensor 5, where each primary coil 5b1 and 5b1 is wound around the outer peripheral face of a bobbin 5c and moreover each secondary coil 5b2 and 5b2 around that outer peripheral face through each insulator 5f and 5f, magnetostriction of each magnetostriction detector 17b and 17b can be detected from each coil mentioned above, each insulator 5f and 5f is the insulated elastic tube the shape of end facet is truncated tubular and the engaged notch 5f2 and the engaged convex 5f1 are formed at each end facet of truncated tube so as to engage each other.
