PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combined sliding member with combined members both having reduced wear and wholly improved seizure and friction properties. SOLUTION: The combined sliding member comprises a first sliding member having a coating formed of an amorphous carbon material and a second sliding member having a coating subjected to nitrosulphurizing treatment and formed on the surface where it slides on the coating of the first sliding member.
